iPray Frequently Asked Questions


Q: I am having charging difficulties, or my player stopped working, battery is dead etc. What should I do?

A: The iPray system only charges when both the iPray player is turned to "on" and the computer you are connected to via the USB cable (included), is turned "on" (not sleep mode or hibernate). 

Again the key to iPray charging is "On" and "On." Both the iPray should be turned to "on" and the computer which it is connected to for charging should be turned to "on."


Q: Can I get iPray on the iPod or MP3 player that I already own?

A: Yes. Without the MP3 player your cost goes down. You purchase the digital version and we send you the MP3 files and booklet through the mail.


Q: Will there be a second set of meditations available next month?

A: You will find once you use iPray that it is something you can use for many months and it doesn't get old. We are looking at version 2.0 and perhaps an Advent version.


Q: How about international shipping?

A: YES! Just follow the Google checkout process and it will give you shipping prices for international service. 


Q: When will a live sales event be coming to my community or area?

A: As of right now live sales will be occurring in these locations:

            -Lansing, MI (Available at bookstore table)

            -Ann Arbor, MI (November 21st)

            -New Jersey (Possibly late November)


Q: What can I do to use my iPray in a communal fashion ie. Family Prayer-times?

A: The best solution is to purchase an auxiliary speaker cable- Walmart or Best Buy have them from $8-12 and then plug it into a stereo or speaker system that has an “Aux-in” port (it looks like a headphone jack).


Q: My iPray player’s volume is never high enough for me. Is there any solution to this?

A: Try increasing the volume by pressing "+." If it is still not loud enough, try purchasing a pair of headphones with higher output and greater frequency output than the included headphones (this will result is better audio quality as well).


Q: I have my iPray turned on and my headphones connected, but I can’t hear anything. Why is this?

A: Check first that your volume isn’t on mute, click the + button several times as sometimes the player can become muted if you’ve clicked – too many times. Additionally try charging the player by plugging the USB cable into a computer that is turned on (you’re battery might be low). If neither of these solutions work, contact us at iPray11@gmail.com


Q: I am missing a component in my box ie. booklet, usb cable etc. What should I do?

A: Email us at iPray11@gmail.com and we’ll send you a new one.


Q: My player is brand new and out of the box and does not have music on it. What can I do?

A: There are two different ways to fix this. One we can give you a promotional code for you to download the audio file for your unit (sometimes players can come without being loaded with iPray ie. a manufacturing glitch). The second way is for us to send you a new player, but the first option would be the quickest solution – again email us at iPray11@gmail.com.


Q: I accidentally deleted the iPray files from my iPray player while I was charging it in my computer. Can I receive a new digital copy?

A: Yes. Just shoot us an email at iPray11@gmail.com.


Q: My iPray player does not work right out of the box? Why is that and what can I do?

A: Flash memory can sometimes malfunction right out of production. These are referred to as lemons and we will gladly replace the product within the first 30 days of your purchase.


Q: I’ve seen people wearing iPray clothing and other gear. How can I get ahold of something like that?

A: Please see our “Upcoming Products” page for how to get ahold of iPraygear.


Q: I would like to become a distributor or sales representative for iPray at my local church or community. Who should I contact?
